Цели урока:
Образовательные:
расширение языковой и коммуникативной компетентности, формирование соци-
окультурных знаний учащихся;
продолжение знакомства учащихся с ИЯ как средством общения.
Развивающие:
развитие умения преодолевать трудности, связанные с использованием нового
лексического материала;
развитие умения правильно подбирать материал для решения коммуникативной
задачи;
развитие логического мышления, памяти, догадки.
Воспитательные:
поддержание интереса к общению и формирование познавательной активности;
воспитание культуры общения.
Задачи урока:
закрепить в речи учащихся изученный грамматический и лексический материал;
совершенствовать произносительные навыки;
развивать навыки устной речи.
Оборудование: ноутбук, мультимедийный проектор, экран, электронное приложение.
Ход урока.
Teacher: Good morning, children. How are you? Glad to see you again!
Today we are going to have not a common lesson at all. But first answer the question: Do you
like travelling? So, do I. That's why I want us to make a trip to a wonderful land of English
verbs - the country DoDidDone. We'll visit only one famous county - Simple. Let's go there
by a virtual bus. But I must warn you: this bus doesn't use any petrol, it uses only rhymes and
songs, you see?
Pupils: What rhymes?
Teacher: Any rhymes you know. Will you recite them?
(Pupils recite different rhymes)
Teacher: OK, children, that will do. Our bus is full. Let's go.
I.
Teacher:
Our first stop is the Present City. Toenter this city we must unlock the gate.
Who remembers the key-words?
Pupil 1: ALWAYS.
Pupil 2: OFTEN.
Pupil 3: NORMALLY.
Pupil 4: EVERY DAY.
Teacher: Good for you! Welcome to PRESENT SIMPLE. Do you know who lives here?
Pupils: Verbs.
Teacher: What kind of verbs?
Pupil 5: Verbs that need some help and verbs that don't need any help.
Teacher: Right. And what are the names of the verb-assistants?
Pupil 6: DO and DOES.
Teacher: Well, children, look around. Who can you see?
Pupil 7 : Some verbs and pronouns.
Pupil 8: And some other words.
Teacher: Will you name them? ( Showing the cards)
Pupil 1: to work - I - every morning - in the garden.
Pupil 2: to go to school - by bus - we - usually.
Pupil 3: to cook - breakfast - for me - my mother.
Pupil 4: to sing - they - merry songs - often.
Pupil 5: to walk my dog - always - you - in the park.
Pupil 6: to dance - he - every week -in the dancing-hall.
Pupil 7: to play - you - normally - with your friends.
Teacher: Now I want you to make up the sentences with these words.
(Pupils read the sentences one by one)
Teacher: Well done! Would you like to have some fun? Perform the meanings of these
verbs, then.
(Pupils perform all the verbs in a pantomimic way)
II. Teacher:
Good for you! Now it's time to go on our way. The second stop is the City of
the Past. How can we enter it?
Pupils: With the help of the key-card "YESTERDAY".
Teacher:
You are welcome, my friends. As you know, the verbs living here are called
"REGULAR" and "IRREGULAR". What does it mean?
Pupil 3:
REGULAR VERBS have the ending -ED. Almost all the verbs living in the
city must wear this ending.
Pupil 4: Except IRREGULAR VERBS, because they are different. They don't have
the ending -ED, they wear their own clothes.
Teacher:
Right you are. Answer the question: ARE THERE ANY VERB-
ASSISTANTS IN THE CITY?
Pupil 5:
Yes, there is one. Its name is DID. It serves all the verbs in this city except
WAS and WERE.
Teacher:
And now, children, look at this poster. These are some REGULAR VERBS.
Dress them in the PAST SIMPLE clothes.

Teacher: Well done! Look here! What is a strange snake? Ah, I know. It is a letter line.
Attention, please! Your task is to find 12 verbs in this line. Try to do it.

Teacher: Good for you! Now it's time to go on our way. Our third and the last stop is
the
Future
City. It's an unusual city, I must say, because it's translated as "ГОРОД
БУДУЩЕГО". So, everything in this city is strange and uncommon for us. But, nevertheless,
we want to enter this amusing city and a key-card will help us again. What key-card do we
need now?
Pupil 1: The key-card with words TOMORROW and IN THE FUTURE.
Teacher: Let's go, then. Welcome to the City of the Future. Do you like it here?
Pupils: Yes, we do.
Teacher: Pay attention to that wall! What can you see there?
Pupil 2: The words that live in the FUTURE SIMPLE:
next week in two weeks
next month in five years
next year the day after tomorrow
in a day two days later
Teacher:
And who else lives in this city? Somebody who is a very important person.
Every verb needs his help. Who is it?
Pupil 3:
It's the verb-assistant WILL. He is kind and hard-working. He helps all the
verbs in the city.
Teacher: I see, thank you. OK, children, I think this assistant would like to know how
you can translate the sentences in Future Simple. So, look at this screen. There are some
sentences for you. Translate them from Russian into English and vice versa.
(Pupils do the exercise)
1) Я пойду в музей завтра.
2) Я позвоню маме на следующей неделе.
3) Он купит билеты через два дня.
4) Завтра Том начнёт эту работу.
5) Друзья украсят комнату на мой день
рождения

1) They will phone me in two days.
2) We will watch an interesting film tomorrow.
3) He will fly to London in five months.
4) Kate will come to my birthday party next week.
5) I will visit France in a year.
Teacher:
Well, children, it's time to go home. Let's fill in our virtual bus with your
favourite songs now. Which songs do you like best? Well, sing them! (Pupils sing "JINGLE
BELLS" and "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU")
Good for you, the bus is full already. Let's go.
Teacher:
Unfortunately, our trip is over. Did you like it? What did you like best?
Would you like to travel anywhere once more?
